TheraFuse is an emerging technology company engaged in design and development of
advanced non-contact optical flow sensors for industrial, commercial and medical
applications where accuracy and precision are paramount.
           Interest in precision fluid flow measurement has increased dramatically in recent years
    driven by the onset of ever-shrinking MEMS-enabled devices focused on market sectors such
    as bio-technology, electro-chemistry and micro-fluidics.

Core Technology    
           Since its founding in 2001, TheraFuse has proven the fundamental principle of thermal
    time-of-flight can be used to measure fluid flow rate over the range of drug infusion rates
    required for most therapeutic settings, from the very low infusion rates for basal insulin in
    neonates to the very high infusion rates required for IV drug delivery in a hospital setting.  
    TheraFuse has designed completely stand-alone prototypes to further demonstrate the
    robustness of the technology in non-laboratory settings.  The performance of these prototypes
    has been measured in AAMI-compliant accuracy and precision studies and in animal studies.
