Employment Listings: Product R & D Engineer You must be a hands-on self-starter capable of working creatively and independently in a project-focused environment. You will be expected to design, set up and conduct experiments leading to prototype designs. You will be asked to perform electrical, mechanical, thermal, fluidic, and optical tests using LabView programs you have written to support research and development efforts. Additionally, you will perform data reduction and analysis, as well as author reports and summaries that document experimental procedure, results, conclusions and recommendations. Requirements: A technical Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field. At least 5 years experience in R&D, Product Development, Medical Devices, or similar field.  Experience in the development and test of drug delivery systems is a definite plus. Demonstrated experience and ability to model complex electro-mechanical systems in LabVIEW™ as well as familiarity with a variety of sensors to measure thermal, mechanical, and fluidic effects, such as thermocouples, strain gauges, pressure gauges, and flow meters. A successful candidate will also have an understanding of electronic instrumentation and simple electrical circuit design. Experience in designing and assembling test fixturing is an added benefit.
